WTF!
No, there was not a light. Only a cutout where there would have been a light.

This is my favorite part...

The lawyer said Judy Wilson has lifetime disabling brain injuries and will now apply to get on Social Security disability. He said his client turned down a pretrial settlement offer of $900,000, an amount that would have left her with next to nothing after a medical lien, experts' costs and his own fees were deducted.
I'd like to know the breakdown on that one...

Speaking of ambulance chasers... I'm wondering if the law firm of Nadrich & Cohens will be updating their blog?

The Wilsons are seeking an unspecified amount of damages in the case, although their attorney has estimated that their lifetime economic loss totals somewhere near $3 million. The jury is now faced with determining whether to hold Harley Davidson and the dealership responsible for Ms. Wilson's injuries.

This case demonstrates how important it is to retain an experienced personal injury attorney if you're ever involved in a motorcycle accident that you believe was caused by someone else's negligence. Should the jury find the Wilsons' arguments convincing, they may be awarded millions of dollars for their medical bills, lost wages and pain and suffering.

The law firm of Nadrich & Cohen is dedicated to assisting motorcycle accident victims in the Sacramento area and throughout California in proving their personal injury claims. Their team of motorcycle accident experts will work hard on your behalf to get you the compensation you deserve.

Call the Injury Hotline today at 1-800-722-0765 to schedule your free initial case evaluation. There is never a fee unless a money judgment is recovered on your behalf. Contact Nadrich & Cohen today to get the experienced legal help you need to prove your California motorcycle accident injury case.

That is correct. No light. Just a space for one. Idiots are becoming more clever every year.

abs works on both front and rear....

i don't know, i wasn't there, but if he did in fact have abs, it might have prevented him from highsiding and ejecting his wife onto the pavement. he might still have ended up hitting the vehicle in front of him, but he might have been able to maintain more control and lessened the severity of the accident.....

but he didn't have abs, and therefor, we'll never know.

Gotta disagree here.

ABS would have prevented the rear tire lock-up & skid.

From that they described in the articles, it sounds like a classic rear skid / fishtail / brake release / high-side. If he'd have worked his front brake and straightened it out before letting off the rear brake he'd have probably been better off. But, as noted, not enough detail to do more than guess.
