Default Now this is getting rediculous!

Ok here's the story! Bear with me. My stepson moved in with us a year ago. He's 21 and has absolutely no work experience whatsoever! None! Dude has no intention of getting off his fat *** and getting a job like the rest of us! It won't be much longer and that will be dealt with but within that year my rainy day funds have all but disappeared! So just a simple exhaust upgrade on my stock 2009 RKC was put on hold because of it. So yesterday I got this bright idea to take the baffles out of my stock slip ons to get the sound I wanted. Now it's LOUD! That being said, I'm looking for some slip ons that are a little mellower. This sound registers on a seismograph for crise sake! Anyway I admit to my f*** up but ever since that point my mind has been racing thinking about upgrades! Fuel management, ac, cams, true duals, wheels, fairings, every damned thing! Now it seems I'm in a bit of a predicament. Like I said, this is getting rediculous now! All it took was a dumb idea to get this all started.

Why don't you put the stock baffles back in for now. Tell the kid to get off his azz and get a job. Then HE can pay for your new slipons.

There is a vast selection of slip on mufflers on ebay, some with affordable prices. If anything, too many choices unless you know what your after. The muffler problem is easy to fix, good luck with the other.

You might as well count on getting a divorce because the kid ain't gonna change. However, I am speaking from personal negative experience. Cut your losses(financial and time).

You ain't helping the ******** by letting him live off of you.

Momma isn't helping him, she's crippling him.

Hopefully he wont do what my daughter tried to do.

She forced us to evict her. Had to go through the start of the legal paper work and the 30 day waiting period, going to court , yadah, yadah

Modify the baffles, repack them and experiment.

I bought a set of baffles off Ebay for $10.00 They fit the Rineharts on my Dyna.

I spent a couple of hours cutting them down, then repacking them, until I got the sound I was looking for.

As far as the kid, change the locks on the door.

Send the mufflers out to American Custom. They will modify them to take their baffle system and send them back to you. www.americancustom.com Look their web site over! Good Luck!
