Time to push him out of the nest. He either flaps his wings or hits the ground. Either way, you get to move on with your life.

Little bird needs to fly before he gets too fat and never leaves the nest. Baffles and pipes ate the least of your worries. His add needs to go, or your marriage is doomed to fail.

To be fair to the kid who has no job; I constantly hear about our terrible economy, despite not personally knowing anyone who doesn't have a job right now. Perhaps this kid, who has no work experience whatsoever, can't find a job? Is this a possibility as well?

Remove his bedroom door. Take the power cord to the computer and tv to work with you. When he's in the shower turn the hot water supply off. When you leave for work take him with you and drop him off in different parts of town with instructions to fill out employment applications. Might consider a vocational school for some hands on experience.

It's easy enough to say "toss him out on his ***", but if you really care about the kid, you'll wonder (with no job experience) if he'll just end up homeless and on drugs. The parents brought him into the world and have a responsibility to make sure he gets off on the right foot. And that's not tossing him out on his ***. Me thinks there's a lack of communication in that house. Put some demands on the boy while he's there. Mow, paint, clean, tell him he has to earn his keep while he gets on his feet.

Oh, and drag *** the real father into the equation.

I didn't say toss the man out. I said somebody's gonna move. At twenty one years old and never had a job, I thinkin the step father doesn't have much influence on this guy. However, I bet the 21 year old man has a cell phone, TV and electronic games. Probably even has a girl friend footin some of his bill. I would bet he can't pass a UA.
