That's called a central tire inflation system, CTIS. yeah, they are very slick. All H1s military or civilian have the basic plumbing for that system, most mil. models have the complete system installed. Most tactical vehicles have it.

Been checking my tires since 1956. Worked well so far. Use free hand out pencil gauges.

One from Buell, one from Bridgesone and a few others.

What folks aren't getting is that this is a supplemental system - not a replacement for good rider safety protocol, i.e. checking your tire pressure with a good air pressure gauge. If you're rolling (as stated by the OP) it's nice to have an early warning that you are losing tire pressure.

Those who have been in the loop on this technology know that systems have been available for a few years now, but usually at a higher price. This is a nice find. I'm not sure if I would want the Schroeder valve replaced either, but there are other systems that strap to the inside of the wheel - kind of like a tire lock on a dirt bike.

I get the ludite response. I have vintage bikes too, and enjoy their simplicity. But, Moco also makes new bikes with efi, air shocks, gps, and no kick starters. It's a big new world out there. If you don't want to join in, that's your choice. But why bash a guy who was nice enough to post up a nice find?

Technology sucks its just a way to make you take the bike in. My new Chevy Cruz has a tire system on it. I took it to have tires rotated. When I picked it up it had the wrench light on.
Ask the tire place? They told me there test equipment didn't go that new. I checked you tube and fixed it myself.

If you google "f350 tire pressure monitor problems" you come up with over 11 million matches.
