Disconnecting negative battery for winter storage

I leave mine on the bike and I put it on the tender all winter. No need to disconnect it.

I remove the battery's from my bikes for winter storage. No chance of a fire without the battery.

You leave the battery in the bike all during riding season then take it out over the winter because it might start a fire????? wtf????

I just ride mine all winter. If I was going to store it anyplace other than where I would see it everyday, I would take the battery out. No since taking stupid chances for five minutes of work.
