Would you buy a bike with this warning?

First up, I wouldn't buy any bike at a dealership and if I saw that sticker on one for sale in there, I wouldn't go back for anything. ever.
But we aren't talking about what I'd do. What are you going to do? Gonna "assume the position" and let the dealership offer you about 10% off for it? (my best guess). Better get some vaseline and those used condoms that were recommended in a post above.

I bought a new one (Yamaha) that kept dying at stops; the dealer said it was the emissions setup and he couldn't touch it. Less than a hundred miles, carb apart on my kitchen table. Pulled the tamper plug, drilled the low speed jet (no replacements, except same size), ran like a champ (lots of Harley owners should be familiar with this procedure). I didn't blame the dealer, fix would have been illegal for him to do. I've heard worse stories from cage owners that bought new.

Forget the bike....I want a roll of those stickers to help me negotiate price on the next clean used Harley I find at a dealership...slip it in the side of the frame when the salesman isn't looking...then ask him "Hey what is this?"

it depends on the actual condition and story behind it..if it was ran nonstop for a couple weeks, that still doesn't equal the 20-50 years of use on most bikes.. it looks like a pretty generic sticker..they just want cover their *** so no warranty. that could date it to be equal to a year old when the warr. wears out anyway... if they use the bike to test a set of custom exhaust for one dyno pull, that means it was used beyond what the factory designed it for.it was modified for performance and the warranty is voided..
on a motorcycle, use or mileage doesn't mean near as much as the actual current condition..

Why? You thinking of printing one of these stickers off and slapping it onto a bike to negotiate the price down?
