RE: kendan trailers
Kendon trailers tow easy - but so do many others. Unless you really plan on keeping it, you might want to look at a U-Haul or buying a kit trailer from Harbor Freight. Stay in 12" or larger tires. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=90154

Yup I have a 2 place yr 2000 model . i took a 7700 mile trip out west with it with no problems .
With the torsion suspension it rides very smooth . One bike will ride just as nicely as two on the two place model .
I towed a sporty and superglide but it will handle any tourer just fine .
I was using a full size truck but the trailer is light enough that a ranger should have no problem .
It depends on your engine size / tow rating mostly . ( ranger tow ratings link page 18 click here )
One person can stand it upright with not alot of effort , roll on casters.
I've seen them on e-bay new and used for a decent price .

Get a "stinger trailer" that one you can tow yourself.
Or the light weight kendons.
Regards.

I have a Wells Cargo 5 X 10 CycleWagon and use to tow it behind a 2002 3.5L Ranger. With my LowRider loaded, the Ranger felt like it was towing with the emergency brake on. You would start up a hill at 70 and top the hill at 50. I then traded it for a Tundra 4.7L and it doesn't even know it's back there.
Keith B.--I know the 4.0L is a much stronger engine in the Ranger than the 3.5--also, that looks like a Halmark trailer you have. I almost bought one of them as they are well built units.

I have a Kendon dual hauler that I tow behind my Jeep Cherokee (4.0L). I've put my RKC and the OL's FXST on it (combined weight around 1400lbs) and my RKC and son's Fatboy (1500lbs) but haven't put the Ultra on it yet. It handles and tows just fine behind the Jeep. Nicest feature is that it goes in the garage and can be stood up out of the way... worst aspect is it cost almost twice as much as my dual axle utility trailer that also hauls 2 bikes (but I can't tow the utility trailer fully loaded behind the Jeep, it's just too heavy). If you go with the Kendon, get the rock guard.

when my Bike got brought home from SanFrancisco the guy showed up with a Kendon 2 bike trailer
I must say it did pull great and both bikes rode fine on the trailer
he said it pulls just the same with one bike as it does w/ 2
