Default Check out my new Clearview windshield

Just got my new Clearview shield installed today which replaced my H-D Deuce shield. After taking off the nuts & bolts to get the trim off, would'nt come off! Found out it has doublesided tape holding it to the shield. Ended up having to use a thin spackling blade underneath to get it off, a bitch.
Anyhow, the new shield is 2 inches wider on each side, 1 inch taller, gray tint, has an upper recurve which is supposed to divert more wind over the top. Test rode it. & I love it! Not near as much wind around my body & head, & NO BUFFETING which I think is due to being thicker. If you need a new shield, check 'em out.

Looks great on your bike. Before spring I plan to ride up to their shop and have them install one. I like the HD windshield but have heard a lot of good things about the ClearView product. Anything that will make my ride better I am all for it.

Thanks. I am not crazy about windshieds generally speaking, I don't use one in warm/hot weather, but when it cools down as it has now, sure makes my ride a lot more comfortable.

It looks good. Is it a different shape/size than the stock?

It' basically the same shape. It's 2 inches wider on each side & 1 inch taller. They make the stock size, the size I got (GT-20), one that is 1 inch shorter than stock, & one that is 2 inches taller. I really like the light gray tint, glad I got it.

I also should mention the shield is a quality product, is thicker than my stock shield, & it can be polished with their special polish, & they make a fine scratch remover too.

I've cut down my stock shield and now its peeling where I trimmed the top..

So I am in the looking for a new shield...
