Default Well son, that's what you get for riding in December

Took my bike out for a december ride today.

55 degrees on December 5th...yea I'll ride!

Took the bike to school, including an extended lunch that happened to run halfway into one of my classes...sorry prof.

By the time I left to come home...40 degrees, foggy as ****, and drizzling...WTF?!

Got home and walked in shivering and the old man looked up from his crossword and said "well son, that's what you get for riding in December"

Fkin old timers and their wisdom

Well at least you got home with no damage. I took mine out for a short ride and ended up running over a damn board I couldn't avoid.
I checked the bike a little while after I got home and now I have 2 flats.

I hear rumours that those blokes in Oz ride in December, so what's the problem?

Question is even with the cold and drizzle, did you enjoy yourself anyway?

It wasn't a pleasure cruise, but I always enjoy being on the bike.

It was just a funny scene walking back in the house. My old man in his sweats with his feet up doing the crossword, me in wet leather with numb fingers.
