Warriors in Transition Unit Program Tailgate Party
Hey guys
I'm taking part in an event on Sunday December 11th, 2011 for the Warriors in Transition Unit Program. We are going to have food, raffle, and a ride. We are meeting at my office in Fairfax, VA and riding to Lorton, VA to an event at the American Legion Post 162.
Meeting at 4000 Legato Rd Fairfax VA at 10 am for coffee and donuts. Kickstands up at 11 am. There will be a midway meeting point for those living closer to the event. The event starts at 1 pm and there will be live music and some other activities to enjoy. Riding with us will be the American Legion riders club and members of the NVRR (Northern Virginia Realtor Riders). We welcome anyone who would like to be part of the event. I have attached the flyer for the event.
The WTU is a non for profit that is operated by a veteran and his wife to help soldiers who are a Fort Belvoir hospital transitioning from war time duty to recovery of injuries sustained in battle. You can read about them here http://www.valegion162.org/warrior_transition.htm.
PM me for additional details.
