I live in Gila county AND I FKN LOVE AZ!!!! I moved here from Maryland 2 yrs ago and aint looked back!

 

That's where I'm at, brutha ! Supposed to be below zero the next two nights BEFORE the wind chill. Just tired of this S$$t ! I was stationed in Puerto Rico and when I got out of the service: went back down there, lived on the beach and ran a bar ! Had so damn much fun, it damned near killed me ! Got to get the hell out of Nebraska !

grew up in Nebraska, spent time in Philly,, then for some reason moved back to Iowa.

Finally got tired of it, tied a snow shovel the front of the jeep and drove south. The first time I stopped for gas and a local asked me "What's that thing tied to your car?" I threw the shovel in the trash and bought a house.

Well, not really. But close. And I was one job interview away from moving to Scottsdale last month. Damn the luck!

 

Any examples? I loooove AZ and want a place there. We visit twice a year, but want to buy.

 

.Just Google Arizona (or Phoenix or whatever area)real estate: depends on what you have to spend. I currently own 36 acres with a modular on it and want some acreage there (I don't play well with others !): example, just looked at a place with 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 3 car garage, 3 acres + pool, just outside of Phoenix: $89,900 !

If you like a "senior" community (age 55 & older, no maintenance, lots of rec centers, etc) like Sun City, there are hundreds of listings. Just like anyplace else, you have to know the neighborhood, but there are housing starting in the 40,s. Good luck: I know I can't wait to get to the desert !!
