Default Poll: Finding the horn button in an emergency

I've thought about posting this question for a long time but thought it sounded kinda' wimpy. But once again, during a ride I was surprised by the move a cager made, cutting me off on the freeway and although I was able to safely maneuver to avoid a collision, I was once again unable to hit the horn during the escape move. I generally am able to predict these types of knuckleheaded moves by these friggin', unconscious, uncaring, self-absorbed "the rules of the road don't apply to me" anuses. You know the ones, putting on makeup, cellphones plugged into their azzes (I mean heads), eating their cheeseburgers and burritos. At those times I have no problem preparing the left thumb on top of the correct button. However, whenever completely surprised, I almost always end up hitting the left turn signal instead of the horn. The worst part I guess is the azzes are clueless of what they just did, the best part is I am still on my bike and not on the asphalt.

So really just wanted to know if you fellow riders experience this phenomonen. I say that because no matter how much I practice finding the horn, I still struggle when I need it most and that is certainly not the case in the cage, where the horn is always located in the center of the steering wheel.

I think I'll turn this into a poll.

I believe in the sign I've seen that says: "Horn Broke, Watch for Finger!"

Bikes need air horns- Then I might use it. Getting cut off is bad enough without a weak wimpy horn to let them know.

I'd like a louder horn. Sometimes the pipes work pretty good too.

Like any thing else in life. You'll only be good at it if you practice. A lot. Just honk that horn at anything and everything everytime you ride. But practice quick moves too.

I have given quite a few a left turn signal myself. I really hate these self-cancelling signals too, some people I want to give an extra dose to!
