The horn is for hot joggers, walkers, and cagers...

The pipes are for ugly people and distracted drivers.

Almost every spring I scare the crap out of myself when I hit the horn, signaling a left turn... Dammit!
When something doesn't look right, I cover the horn/highbeam buttons "just in case". If there are unforeseen emergencies, I don't always find the horn button. Flipping on the high beams intentionally seems to get the most attention from unattentive drivers

You just need to practice. It took me awhile to get the hang of it.

Practice makes perfect!

sometime between 1994 and 1998 the horn and bright light switch traded places on baggers
the horn button is now in the right spot closer to you and bright switch is futher away

I fart louder than my horn. I tried to use it once to notify a cager he drifted into my lane and I could barely hear my horn.

Now generally, if a cager is close enough to **** me off with some dick move, my boot very easily finds a quarter panel or door. That gets their attention *real* damned quick.

I usually give'em the left turn signal, followed by the high beams, right signal, a quick blast from the starter, and ending with a "sonofabitch!!!".
