Alright, let's see receipts for expensive HD t-shirts you've bought. I thought $50 for the one I bought in Niagra Falls was a lot. Then my sister picked me up two while on business in Santiago Chile and handed me the reciept for 34,000 dollars! I about had a heart attack until she told me exchange rate.

How much did that amount to in US currency?

 

The going rate for HD tee shirts around here is about $28. The long sleeved ones are about $35.

 

She said they were about $30 each....

 

K-Mart, Haynes 3.99 or 4.99 for pocket tee, anything over that is just ripping us off. Now if they would print it all up and put my name on back that would be kool. Never could figure out how they got us thinking it was a good thing to double their money and advertise for them at the same time.

Only own two. One came with the bike and the other was a gift. My wife buy's herself shirts all the time and it does'nt bother me. I just can't bring myself to do it.

 

Yeah, prices for t-shirts have gotten completely out of hand. Harley has gotten too greedy. Everything is becoming overpriced just because it says "Harley-Davidson" on it. They have even flooded the market with bikes just as Honda did several years ago. Guess they didn't learn anything from their competitor. Or the big shots see a quick way to get even richer and to hell with the average guy who kept them in business. Seems like they are getting to be more and more like the other big corporations.
