You can also take a look at Wesco boots, custom made to your foot size. They send you a template for foot outline and measurements. Definitely not cheap boots.

Click on men's custom, then pick the features you want to add to the boot, they all have Vibram soles.

Thanks, I'll check these out too.

Wearing these right now:
Work-n-Sport, marketed through Blain's Farm & Fleet. Sizes to EEE.
Comfortable enough to walk around in all day.

Another vote for Wesco boots.
I have two pairs, and I will never be buying anything else. I did a review on them here I think, let me see if I can find the thread...

Yeah I've noticed the same- always buying boots too long just to get the width I needed. You would think more makers would notice this and offer wider boots. Thanks for the suggested manufacturers.

I called Mason Shoe Co. The one with the catalog they send out. Nothing they sell is made in the USA anymore. Told 'em they could stop sending the catalog.
Got me a pair of Belleville boots....made in the USA. (think they make boots for the military also)
Good Luck, Pete

Double H. Made in the USA and comfortable. Only cowboy boots that were comfortable out of the box. Just ordered a pair of steel toe harness from them. Lots of variety on their site.

Well I found a pair of Red Wing 616's 11H (4W) that fit well yesterday & the 620 fit in a 11.5 EE (EEEE not available in 620's). But local stores want 220 a pair & they are not USA made. Screw that. They are on the web for 159 but Red Wing doesn't permit internet sales! I'm sill stretching the Carolina's & they are getting better. Another solution is to go up 1/2 size but I used to be a 10.5. WTF, as I get older everything shrinks except my feet, they grow! LOL.
