Take them off use them on your next bike or sell them or give them to friend. The dealer will not give you anything for them in trade in.

Leave the wheels and tires on it. It doesn't roll worth a **** without them, and it scratches the tile in the showroom.
Thank you,
the Dealer

I would leave the bugs on the windshield. It gives the bike character.

You will get nothing for the parts, but the dealer may try to ask more for the bike if you leave them on so all you would be doing is helping them get more money for your bike when they sell it.

Ask the dealer what you should do. I'm sure they are looking out for your best interest.

When I had a dealer give me a trade-in value on my wife's Deluxe they were willing to give me $325 more if I left the Boss saddlebags and windshield on the bike. Bags were $1200 new and the windshield was over $300. So that's about 20 percent of their original cost.

Take off every single thing the dealer won't notice is missing...

Valve stem caps, bulbs, bolt toppers, the air in the tires...

All kidding aside, the sum value of the individual parts will be greater than what you'll gain as a whole from leaving them on. Take em off. If you need OEM parts to replace what you're taking off, you can always post WTB threads on here, some people might just give you the parts for free if you pay shipping, and you'll still be able to turn a profit on the parts you took off. eBay is a good resource too, or even a different dealer might sell you their take offs for dirt cheap.
