Default Extended Season

Well even though it's 3\4 of the way thru November, we have still had some pretty nice late fall days of riding here in the northeast.
Was able to meet up with a bunch of friends on Sunday. It was around 65,the sun was shining, we had a great time. Only rode maybe about 80 miles in total, but every mile is a bonus at this time of year. Saw the extended forecast for late in the week and it shows 60's again for the weekend, keep it coming baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sure beats the hell out of last year.
Every day into this stretch of weather means one day less of the cold and crap. (not to mention saving on the heating oil)

Yeah I'm with you on that. Last year once winter hit I we were down till spring. This year so far, it's a bit cold but not too much snow. I'll probably ride tomorrow.

I got out with some old and new friends yesterday for a great ride to Western MA and near 70 degree temps! Got a great pic of my bike to boot!

got 150 miles in on Sunday, it was a heated gear day. Ran over a squirrel who zigged when he should of zagged, saw a red fox and a boatload of deer. Looks like I may be able to get some riding in on Thurs/Fri before the rain comes in for the weekend. Any day now it will snow enough for the salt trucks to come out, then it's game over till spring for me.

Looked out the window about 9:00 am yesterday. Sun was shining and in the low 50's. Waited a few hours and looked again. Temps came up to about 60 but it was getting cloudy. Looked out around 1:00 and it looked like rain but it was mid 60's. I said "Screw it, I'm going out". Glad I did. Never rained .Got about three hours of "therapy" and hope I can do the same thing again this weekend.

It might hit 50 here on Wednesday and we've had rain since the snowplows last salted the roads. Should be good to go so long as I stay below the snow line. Probably my last ride until March.

At least I have some friends in Florida and SoCal who will be rubbing it in all winter...
