Default Leather riding gloves without palm padding?

I've been looking for proper leather riding gloves without palm padding for ages. Pretty much all gloves have some type of padding or at least multiple layers of leather on the palm, but I don't like that since it doesn't do anything, except make gripping more difficult.

I'd like ones with good perforation for ventilation, snap/velcro closure, preferably with armor on the knuckles. No gauntlets, no fabrics or synthetic materials.

Any tips?

go to your hardware store and buy a pair of the tan work gloves
beat the snot outa them and you got riding gloves
And if you feel froggy you can cut the fingers off at the second joint as they age and you got "real" Old Sckool fingerless gloves

Tack and Feed stores usually have deerskin gloves (no extra padding) that are nice for riding.

If you stop by a police supply store, they usually have several different kinds of unlined Hatch police gloves.

The Gel Padding prevents carpel tunnel syndrome. It takes years to develop, so you might want to stay with padding.
