Default Home remedy request!!

To stop goggles from fogging up on the inside.

I know there are products various to prevent this, but thats in the "rest of the world". I live in a country where most sensible people put their bike away for the winter, therefore said products are few and far between if available at all....

Rain-X makes a product for cars that would probably work.

Alright. I played hockey all my life. A goalie. Anyways the guys would use shampoo on their visors to stop fogging. They would squirt it on then wipe it off. Don't rince it off. It seemed to work for them.

When I was a scuba diver we would spit in our mask..We also used to cut a potato and rub the oil on the inside of the glass..It worked.

Two things we use to do when scuba diving

One was to spit in the inside of the mask and spread it around then rinse, sounds gross but it worked

Second, take some tobacco from a cigarette and wipe the inside real good with it. Be sure to smash the tobacco so the oils are transferred to the glass.

Not sure if those will work for you but it costs nothing to try

Are ski goggles available in your country?
They are vented.
Use Wikipedia to research "skiing" & you may find a similarity to motorcycling.

tried the spittin' trick this morning, was good for about 15 mins then back to fog-o-rama

Hadn't heard of the shampoo, potato or tobacco tricks. I'll try one of those tomorrow morning!

Keep 'em comin'!

Back when I used to downhill ski as a kid, I'd use my dads shaving cream on my goggles before a trip. Yup..the old white foam shaving cream (not the green or blue gel stuff), smear a dab on with a tissue and rub it in well.
