'Zen & the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance' is truly a great book--
a true sense of frivolity
For a person that has spent as much time w/ their cycle apart staring & wondering at it as operating one...
Its a good book tellin ya ta leave it alone sometimes &, just, let it do what it does.

Myth: People who ride Harleys want people to think they are 1%'s.
Fact: We go out of our way to make sure people understand we just like to ride and have nothing in common with the stereotypical bikers.

it simply a matter of taste.
I didn't find anything earth shattering, riveting or entertaining in it. Didn't care for the writing style either.
It has taught me patience, though....
I read it all the way thru, despite many urges to burn it, throw it at the my ex or simply pass it on to one of my friends praising it as "the coolest book ever".
I just didn't think it lived up to the hype any more than "Hells Angels" by Hunter Thompson.
