Two pages and no AMF myths?
Yeah, my passenger floorboards sheared off at the base of the bracket. Lost my bracket, floorbooard and 1 month old Kuryakyn adjustable pegs. It was stock bolt that sheared off.

A big myth is that we all want to be "bikers". I just like riding, and I like my Harley. Have no interest in being a biker. Whatever that means.

If you ride a bike... You're a biker.

My 30 year old Tour Glide with around 75k miles leaks a little bit, just gets a little wet under the case and weeps from the bolts on the rocker boxes when it gets hot. The PO had a "just ride the damn thing" attitude when it came to maintainance. She purrs like a kitten, it even runs quieter than my TC88!

Myth: All Shovels leak oil all over the place

Myth: All Shovels are unreliable pieces of junk

Great answer i believe you have lived the life. Kudos for that. I'd like to look you up and have a ****ing beer or 2. My first bike was a 1975 Super glide shovel that ran on leaded gas. I had to add lead additive and shake it at fuel ups. Man I loved that bike and I could kick my own *** for getting rid of her. I still don't think you could take me.
