I enjoy riding alone and do most of my riding that way, especially since I ride to work almost every day here in VA. When I'm riding purely for enjoyment, I like having one or two friends along that ride with similar styles to my own so that I don't have to think too much about what they are going to do in an emergency.

If I'm with total strangers, I'm always on alert since I don't know their riding styles or abilities.

 

Solo 95 plus% of the time. It is THE way to go.

 

Most of my riding is done alone also i'ts very peaceful and relaxing.unfortunately it's put away for the winter.I'ts gonna be along winter up here.

 

I enjoy both, group and solo but it also depends what I am riding. But around here it’s hard to find people to ride with so most of my riding is solo anymore.

What he said!!!!! 99% of my riding is solo, just me.

I have a couple I ride with in warmer weather. We share the joy of riding, and camping.

There is a lot to consider when riding in a group.......... If I am not solo, it is pretty much duo. Sometimes good company is nice.

I'm solo 90% of the time, but I enjoy riding with my brother or a couple other freinds once in a while. If I can find the wife a trike, that percentage may drop.

 

Last time I had a passenger was 1988 if that tells you anything.

I ride alone 95% of the time, just like the freedom to go as I please. I do very much enjoy rides with my daughter and son in law and a couple of close friends, but solo rides on the secondary roads is what I enjoy the most. Seems to me George Thorogood sang a song about this topic:

i thought i would ride alone until i felt safe around others. now i ride alone because it just feels right. i like to ride at least 200 miles, and most friends do about 50-75 and call it a day. also, i like to ride pretty fast if conditions are good. here in texas there is no excuse to putt around for a couple of hours and head home. i also ride solo, never had a passenger. i guess you try group riding and see if all the structure is fun or boring for you. either way ride alot and stay safe

 

Can't keep the wife off the back of mine[] It is great to have her there, but it would also be fun to go it alone at times.
