I was about to pull the trigger on buying a Dynojet Power Commander III from Fuel Moto when the guy I was talking to mentioned that I could by thier Fuel Moto EFI Tuner for $70 less then the Power Commander III. He indicated that both units are made by Dynojet and that they use the same programming and maps. OK, so if that is the case, why are they able to sell it so much cheaper?

So my question is whether anyone has bought and used the Fuel Moto product and if so, how has it run. If you don't have a either, would you consider buying the Fuel Moto product? Sometimes you can get a good deal buying something like this and other you can end up with junk.

What do you think?

 

The Fuel-Moto is essentially the same unit as the PC III without the adjustment buttons on the top. In my opinion you are better off without them and you save $70.00.

 

I wouldn't hesitate buying one but I didn't know about them until after I bought my PC-V.

 

I have had the fuel moto tuner for three years, nothing but great things to say. Put the extra money towards something else. Tell what you have and it will be programmed when you get it.

 

like you said, they are both made by dynojet. i'm pretty sure you can be confident of anything that you buy from fuelmoto, nothing they sell is junk.

 

no issues with mine, plug and play so to speak. Very happy with FM and all the products I have purchased from them.
