Pretty sad. Like Harley doesn't charge enough for there parts and service. They double there prices on everything and now we can't even get a deal on there parts. I have a friend that works at a local Harley dealer and there employee discount is 50%. That's tells you something

Like someone said already, so much for free enterprise. <sigh>
I already have 80% non-HD parts on my bike. Fuel Moto, V&H and CFR pipes, Kuryakyn, Long Ride shields, J&M speakers, etc... so I will buy even less HD accessories than before. It doesn't bother me.
The whining dealers should learn to be competitive. If they're not, I won't subsidize them.

+1. Just type in the part number at Surdyke.com and save.

It is not just the parts they are screwing us over up here in Canada.
To get a big bore (similar to the Fuel moto 107) done up here in Canada is over $6000. and now they are starting to tell us that if we even do our own oil changes we will void our warrenty.
What a load of crap
well, they figure you save all that money on free healthcare and education, they can squeeze you a little harder on motorcycle parts

does that $6000 include GST?

Ebay now, zanottis and other discount dealers next. HD knows you all won't leave, my next bike may not be a Harley. I have no problem looking at Victory.

Its rediculous. The dealers pays their price to the MoCo, it shouldnt matter what the dealer sells the parts to us for and how they do it.
