As far as I am concerned, there is only one touring seat that my wife and I will ride on and that's a Corbin. Once you are use to it you will never ride anything else. We live in Atlanta and rode the back road to Dayton Beach. It took us 11 hours and no sore butts. My friend and his wife had a Mustang seat and they were complaining after the 3rd gas stop. Needless to say, he now rides a Corbin.

There are now nine Ultimate seats among the friends and acquaintances I have recommended it too... and no complaints!

Are you able to flat foot pavement with the sundowner? I'm 5'8" and was thinking about a sundowner but heard it sits you higher and wider than stock. I'm already on the ***** of my feet, I don't want to go up any higher

Russell Day Long. 99% of IBA riders (myself included) can't be wrong.

I've owned mustang. Great seat, but no comparison. If u can't afford an RDL, mustang is second. Harley brand and Corbin seats not even in the discussion. Yes, I've owned them....

+1 Mean City Cycles. They're out of Maiden, NC...North Carolinians like us. I'll be sending my new SG seat there over the winter. My Fat Bob seat was WONDERFUL...I think its what helped sell the bike.
Only other experience I had with seat changes was a HD Reach seat...Miserable. Should have just sold me the pan.
Keep your money local...get ahold of the good dudes at Mean City Cycles. They can do anything you want with your seat.

I love the Road Zeppelin Harley seat. The width spreads your weight across it, and you can adjust the air pressure in different areas. The one that fits an '06 has three bladders for the driver, and two for the rider.

I am very happy with Mustang Wide Touring seat with backrest. I have no need to experiment with other seats. My next bike will also have a Mustang.
