from ilmanzo31. It was jsut as described and I would purchase from him again if he had anything else I needed. It is jsut a jockey novelty helmet, but quite a nice one. The last one I had didn't have much padding at all, this one has more, but not too much. I now have to take it out for a test run. Here is a pic I took myself. No more mushroom head...

Out here in CA everyone wears a helmet due to the law. HDWG it is not DOT. I have decided that if I am stupid enough to wear a half helmet, screw the dot. I am going to paint DOT on it today...I still ahve a full face that I will probably wear if it gets too cold or I take a long trip, but I have become "cool" after spending too much time here...

 

By chance, Are you in the witness protection program?

 

I know whatcha mean, I have a few non DOT helmets but, I found an DOT German helmet that I usually wear when I wear a helmet

 

These guys make excelent DOT aproved helmets, they look like the Novelty helmet in size, but they are truely DOT. there not cheap, but i feel it worth the extra money. I went through a few helmets before I ran across this one. Now, all my freinds and my father have all bought one, they are great. Very light weight, and for those who don't have a windsheild (I didn't) it doesn't catch the wind like a standard helmet. Check these out.DOT Helmet

I want to get an acc carbon fiber, but don't have the money for one right now. Maybe ill be able to get one after the holidays

 

I just took this for a test ride, and I was actually quite impressed. I took the bike up to about 70 and the helmet stayed on my head quite well. It did not catch the wind or pull uncomfortably on my neck either. I am satisfied. thanks ilmanzo...
