Question Yahoo Finance?

A friend has found a great deal on a used bike in another state and the person selling it has indicated that he is to pay the money through Yahoo Finance and he will ship the bike and my friend will have 7 days to check the bike over and finalize the deal.

Have any of you heard of anything like this?

The wording sounds like one of the Craigslist scams.

How much is the bike and what model/year?

BE CAREFUL, I know a guy that did what you say and no bike, no refund. If it sounds to good to be true it usually is. My rule, if I cant see the bike, touch the bike hear it run, I dont buy.

Had a similar situation when trying to buy a Jeep a few years ago. Contacted Yahoo Finance and they said they do not hold money for sales transactions such as this. I'd move on to the next sales add and leave this one alone
