Yesterday was the practice day for the Daytona skills event.
All of these riders are good but the real good riders easily standout of the crowd. The event does not look as well attended this year as in the past but still lots of Police with there bikes including one State Trouper from SC.
Man these folks can ride.
Notice how far forward they sit on the bike, lots of clutch and rear brake used, no front brake.
I will be heading back out this morning to see some of the start of the competition.

That was an impressive run, i could throw a bike around like that if i didnt have to worry about paying for it or dropping it... But when its my bike/money on the line, i'm gonna ride a bit more conservitive.

 

We had our last motor training of the year on Tuesday and the final motor assignment (Vets Parade) is tomorrow. Then the bikes are to be stripped and traded in for new ones.

 

Yeah, these LEO's have mad skills. Very impressive.
