I'd say hard bags for the custom and leather for the classic.

I made the switch from leather bags to hard bags. For me, the matching color, the locking lids, as well as they just look better IMO sealed the deal. thought i'd share some pics too.

Leather only for me. Classy looks and makes a nice cushion when your bike falls over.
