If you don't think that you would be a valuable asset to an organization, then don't join anything at all.
Too many people want to run out and join whatever just for perks or what that organization can do for them.
Stop being selfish. If you are already asking, "What can I get out of it?" then joining any organization is not for you.

If you're a veteran, you may want to consider joining the American Legion Riders. Although, not all American Legion posts have a RIDERS group, so you'd have to check into that.
