So who here is this crazy?

By the looks of that little old Suzuki, it may be his only ride. At least he wears a full face helmet. **** I grew up in Massachusetts and rode in all types of weather.

I've ridden in the snow on a few occasions. As long as you let the bike go mostly where it wants, it's not too terrible. I don't intentionally go far distances in the snow, but to work and back (10k round) I make exceptions.

If my bike was my only means of transportation and I absolutely had to go somewhere during a snowstorm I would do it. Luckily, it never snows where I live and I have other vehicles at my disposal besides my bike.

1969 in Nebraska: young, dumb and broke ! Had both tires studded and rode all winter. Won't say I didn't fall down a few times, but it didn't hurt as much back then ! When that's all ya got, you ride !

i've left for work some days in the sunshine and it snowed during the day , but i sure wouldn't ride in the snow and ice on purpose . i don't love taking the bus , but it's the best thing in the winter and i don't even have to worry about how stupid the car drivers are.

I have ridden in ice and snow both on-road and off-road on dual sport bikes like my BMW R1200GS or more dirt oriented bikes. I guess that's part of the adventure.
I have ridden a few times in slush, snow or icy conditions on a HD softail and other makes/models of street bikes. Most of the street bike situations were just bad route planning, rapidly changing weather or limited options. It's not something I would intentionally plan on doing.
