Terrible stroy. If I had to bet, I would bet that the kanagaroo courts in our judicial system will fail once again. Anyone can see that this bitch needs to be locked away. Don't be suprised if the courts see it differently.

Found out this morning that there were actually TWO father and son duos that were riding together. They were neighbors and best friends who were out for an evening ride.
The Skeens woman crossed the center line, side-swiped one of the sons and then hit Stephen (father) and Kevin (son) Moody head on. Kevin was only 19 years old.
Based on her record, obviously an individual who's entire existence is about where her next "high" is going to come from. IMHO, the approprite punishment is spending the rest of her life sober, in prison, living with the knowledge that she killed two people.

That is a shame... and she left and hid her car in the woods? What scum! My prayers are with the family of the father and the son, such a tragedy!

I say make her sleep in prison and live a sober life working the days in a morgue. Let her stare death in the face every day. Our useless judicial system is too busy crucifying people who make honest mistakes. She is a true scum and they will put her back on the street I'm sure. Never fails.

Our justice system is so flawed in cases like this. Changes are needed...no plea bargains, no parole...mandatory sentencing and punishment.

She will get off. They are going to say, did she intentionally aim her car at them? A skeleton of a human here in Washington just got sentenced to four and a half years for almost hitting someone on the sidewalk then ramming a car three times sending them to the hospital then going on to kill a person in another car.
