recalling about 308,000 motorcycles to fix a switch problem that can cause failure of the brake lights and possibly even the rear brakes themselves.

The problem affects Touring, CVO Touring and Trike vehicles from the 2009 through 2012 model years.

 

I checked on the web site and my VIN is listed as being recalled but I haven't received anything in writing yet.

 

This has been a problem for years! Wish they would recall my 04 Heritage so I dont have to put another switch in it!

 

It is interesting that the recall says that the switch may fail due to excessive heat. Why don't they address the excessive heat issue????????
