Pair of trolls.
Nothing else gets responses on HDForum like a story about 1%ers.
3 pages of posts in less than 24 hours???? The infatuation some of you have with biker gangs is weird. HA is a motorcycle gang not a club, not a group of guys out to have fun. They are a criminal organization. It is bad when someone dies on a bike ,leave it at that. All these comments about the HA ??? Who cares ???

I live here.
Morning news says not sure if road rage or if there was any communication between the two drivers.
None the less, bus merged into bike which trapped the biker and bus drug him for a mile, bus stopped and bus driver ran.
Arrest for feleny hit and run.
No one else was in the bus and the bus was one of those Para (Handicap etc) Transits plus bus driver was employeed with them for 20 yrs.
Biker was driving in a HA group. No word on what the group did or saw.

SAN LEANDRO - Eastbound Interstate Highway 580 in San Leandro was reopened shortly before 2:30 a.m. today after an East Bay Paratransit driver was arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and murder after a fatal collision with a motorcyclist Saturday afternoon, officials said. The highway was closed since shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday as police collected evidence in the area well into Sunday morning, Sgt. Doug Calcagno said.
The Paratransit driver was identified by San Leandro police as Eddie Hall, 31, of Oakland.
CHP Sgt. Trent Cross said it appears the crash followed an altercation between the driver and the motorcyclist, who he said was a Hells Angels member. The motorcyclist had been traveling in a group with seven or eight other motorcyclists, Calcagno said.
The Paratransit van struck the motorcyclist, and the motorcycle was dragged under the van for several miles before the van pulled over just east of the 150th Avenue onramp, Calcagno said.
After Hall pulled over to the shoulder, he attempted to flee the scene and was arrested by Alameda County Sheriff's deputies, San Leandro police said.
Calcagno said that there were no passengers in the Paratransit van at the time.
The motorcyclist was treated by Alameda County Fire Department personnel and then transported to a nearby hospital. He was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
San Leandro police and CHP are investigating whether Hall intentionally struck the motorcyclist."We don't think it was an accident," Calcagno said, but said it was unclear what the motive may have been.

Regardless of the MC affiliation, this is just horrible. This bus driver served the disabled community and has enough rage to run a motorcyclist over? I'm happy his bus was empty and his riders didn't have to witness it.

Unless the bus driver is completely insane, I'll bet he pleads not guilty. his union will back him, and he'll get off with 3 yrs probation, and probably keep his job, or be pushed into retirement. He'll say he was scared for his life, and that's why he didn't stop, and why he ran after stopping.

Some on her has less regard for human life than most gang bangers. How about next time a cop is killed we just says he was corrupt like all cops and he deserved it? No? Why not? same thing just that there are more badge bunnies here is all. What a bunch of hyprocrites.

HA's are criminals period, he got what was coming. Doesn't matter if he was on a bike or not. I have no regard for the life any criminal.
I have no sympathy for the cops that dies on the job, that is part of their job. I feel said a person had to die, and feel bad for any family left behind. But, they made the choice to be in law enforcement.
For the record. Anyone that just goes around running bikes down is just as much a criminal as the next. Any driver hitting a bike should be charged with a crime. Cell Phones should be banned in vehicles on public roads.
