RangeRat, thanks for the headsup, rear brake light just went south.

 

The recall doesn't specify the Heritage Softail but they just replaced mine under warranty because it came on and stayed on.

 

I had one burn up on my 2009 and just made an appt for the 2011. No new switches yet at the dealer and they wanted to know, how I found out before they did about the recall.

I am higher up on the food chain!...I said

fabricated a heat shield for mine, but, I will
do the recall for sure. I will wait until the
initial rush is over as I have so far(knock on wood)
not had any issues.
