Colder weather and full face helmet question
#32
Sounds like a good tip. Back in my scuba diving days I'd lay a good hork in my mask, spread it around, a light rinse and no fog issues. I wouldn't recommend the technique for the helmet visor though.

Good frickin' luck convincing a FF wearer to go 3/4 or 1/2 due to cold weather and fogging. Wow.
There must be a reason but why do you bother backing your bike into the garage? Why not just back it out??
I use a Shoei RF-1000 in the cold weather. The first few times it fogged up I was able to fix it by just cracking the face shield open a bit. Then I went to a local ski shop and bought some of their anti fog spray. Works like a champ.
Mine came with a small snap in piece that covers my nose. That does help quite a bit with the fogging, but I usually leave it out just because it feels funny to have my nose and mouth 'separated' from my face. lol

I just bought my first full-face. Can someone describe what a pinlock shield is?
