My question is, will a full face helmet fog up on cold mornings? I am very claustrophobic so full face helmets never appealed much to me, but if they dont fog, provide more protection, fit well over my prescription glasses , it may be worth a try.
Schuberth C3 won't fog.

go to leather up .com ..........they have leather face masks for $10 . triangle shaped leather with velcro to adjust where you want it it on yor face . It will cover your throat and you can pull it up over your ears . pulls down easy over your nose when your stoppped . it won't fog up your glasses and a little fresh air . pulls right back into position pretty easy when you take off . I use gauntlet gloves and can pull it back in place . It works alot better than the neoshprene mask I paid $20 for .
just my opnion

Mine came with a small snap in piece that covers my nose. That does help quite a bit with the fogging, but I usually leave it out just because it feels funny to have my nose and mouth 'separated' from my face. lol

I also was concerned about feeling claustrophobic in a FF helmet. I've found that I actually prefer it now (except for those really hot days). The only real problem that I've encountered is when I have to back the bike into the garage. With the FF on, I can't see behind and over my shoulder enough to squeak the bike in between the car and the wall. I have to take the helmet off first.
Hell man, leave that caddy outside. I mean, what's more important?

Just bought a modular from Big Mike here on the forum last week. Going from a 3/4 with ski mask and goggles in cold weather to a full face is a huge improvement when the temp was in the 30's yesterday morning on the way to work.

Sitting behind a big windshield seems to lessen the air flow through the helmet enough though that I had to crack the shield to keep from fogging. And that defeats some of the warmth I need.

So I'll look for some anti fog spray too

Just got back from Wal-Mart. Optical dept had 'Anti-Fog Cloth' in a sealed packet.

(3) cloths, supposedly reusable over and over again. $4 for the carton, ( Somebody's makin' $$$!)

Feels dry to the touch but has a slilcone residue feeling on my fingertips.

We'll see how it works Monday on the way to work.

absolutely, when it's cold or rainy, a pinlock is the only way to go.
