Wisconsin isn't much better in the weather department, high of 43 today and 30mph wind, with rain.

But at least we don't have to worry about lions and tigers and bears and monkeys running across the road...

Schu, I agree... once the highs top out in the 40's... I'll hang it up, because the lows will be below freezing.

Let the mods begin...

That's one of the reasons I moved out of NEO... sunny and 97 here today.

Sorry Schu, did the Three Sisters day before yesterday, challenged the cold today (bout 50 when we started) and did a differnt route and one of the three sisters, kick back day tomorrow, then Friday another ride a little farther south of here. I really don't think there is a bad road to ride here. I'll think about ya on the next ride. LOL

It takes three things, all at once, to stop me from riding. Temp below 40, precipitation, and darkness. As long as one of those is missing, I am good to go. Fortunately, in southeast AZ you verrrrrry seldom see all three at once.

This is the nicest time to ride in Florida--beautiful from now till mid Dec, then it can get a little cold, but starts to get nice again in Feb. I like riding in a t-shirt,and I will be able to do that for about another month during the day. Even in the dead of winter here, it's still light at 6PM. And the sky is crystal clear all the time during the Florida "winter".

Yea;Cleveland's gotta be a real hellhole. Got offered a gig there once for Jan & Feb & turned it down.

Damn, I'm still too young to retire and move and old enough to know that if I'm going to, it has to be soon! Besides I'm still raising my two youngest boys.....Hell I'll be to old for sure by the time I get my 6 and 10 year olds through college. I guess I'll be doing those winter mods for many years to come!

That's the refrain my wife and I have used ever since we move away, 35 years ago. (8 days after the wedding) Moving to Cleveland (from Atlanta) was what started my hiatus from motorcycles in the first place.

I'm in denial about the coming winter. I'm not ready to admit the season is coming to a close. I've even been resisting admitting that the FF helmet is now a better choice for comfort. Supposed to be low 60's this weekend and have two long rides planned.

Is overnight freezing the signal that it is time to surrender?
