I could afford a new or used Harley.....being a Sportster but I don't want one. The only HDs I like are the touring rigs.....specifically the EG standard. I like low mileage and relatively new.....so $$99/mo isn't going to cut it for a bike that will cost me around $14K minimum.

And the $99/mo deal is surely a back door death trap. It all comes down to what the interest rate is....if you're paying double for the bike in the long run....not worth it.

I'd LOVE an '07 Electra Glide and I'm single with no kids and no debts and make pretty good $$. But I unfortunately have a $2K/mo mortgage...and unless I sell another property I own, that payment stays. I have a car and crotch rocket that are both paid for and I'm not willing to sell the crotch rocket. So I'll just have to keep saving until I can put $10k down on the HD I want and finance the rest since I don't want a $300/mo bike payment right now.
