The exhaust is sweet! I love the tank too. The color is great and the little AMF decal is something else.

Although his statement of "I ride this daily"......and having 15,000 miles for a '79...what, does it ride it down to the end of his driveway each day?

 

Funny he didn't put a price on it. The siamese exhaust sets it apart for sure.

 

Sorry, that wasn't the bike back "to have" in the 70's, and still isn't. Like a '63 Rambler wasn't, and still isn't.
Now a '57 Chevy, was, and still is. Get my point.

 

Any time some goomer tosses in the words Vintage , rare , or hard to find in the add in the first sentence they are hoping for the guy who hasn't got a clue and thinks it really is screaming deal bet he's asking $7000 or better for that .

 

But it's vintage and very, very rare.

It actually looks to be in pretty good shape, but why wouldn't it with an average of less than 500 miles a year.

I don't have a clue what it's worth, surely less than what the seller is expecting though.

 

LOL! I was thinking the same thing-Only 15K miles and it's 32 years old. maybe he works like 2 miles from home? That is a sweet old bike and for the right price would be cool to have.

 

Nice looking bike. Wish somebody would make a exhaust like that now.
