Default Kickshoe Fell Off - FINALLY!

Kickshoe fell off the other day. Took a turn - heard something go clunk - got home - put down the kickstand - kerplunk! There it was, laying on the garage floor. It bottomed out and scraped on turns from day 1! IMO - wasn't designed very well! Oh well - Cheap enough lesson learned!

Concept - great.
Execution -

Dear Sirs,
I apologize for the manner in which my original post was perceived. The concept of the Kickshoe is a good one, but as I stated it just didn’t work out for me. I originally contacted you regarding the scraping of your product when I leaned into a left turn and your response then was honorable and straight forward regarding your satisfaction guaranteed policy. I left the Kickshoe on anyhow thinking that I would rub off the excessive material that was scraping and it would “seat in” but the end result was that it must have caught on something and it broke.
I don’t have the Kickshoe at this point. I should have picked it up and sent it back at the time, but my judgment was bad at the time and I threw it out. I don’t expect any sort of refund and I’ll pass on a replacement part and again I apologize for the manner in which I expressed myself.
As to my posting, I am amending it to include a copy of this letter. Your current and future customers should know that you are an honorable company and that they will be treated fairly when dealing with you.

Sorry to hear of your issue. We have actually redesigned the product since you bought yours. It is now slightly more compact, attached to the bike differently and stronger.

Will be glad to replace yours with the re-design or refund your money. We guarantee all of our products or your money back.

Let me know what you'd rather do and we'll take care of it asap.

By the way, we really do care about our customers and if they are satisfied and having issues. You should have contacted us right away if you were having problems from the beginning. We certainly don't expect you to keep a product that doesn't work for you. We're sorry you felt you had to.

It's a product we designed to stabilize the bike when parked on soft/uneven surfaces like hot asphalt, grass, gravel, etc.

KickShoe for 07 and later Touring Bikes

KickShoe for 06 and Earlier Touring Bikes

Thanks. We had some issues with our first line, but we have tried to replace all of those and now our newest product is quite different.

Also, the KickShoe® is a part of the HDForums discount page on the link below.

That is a great idea! I always hate keeping a stupid kickstand pad with me. Gonna have to check that out.
