Default dfw area day ride ideas
My brother in law is coming down in a month and wants to rent a bike for the day and go riding. Where is a good place to go for 4- 5 hr ride with senic trails and twisty roads. thanks

Here is a route that will probably take 5 to 6 hours. However there are lots of places that you can cut some off the route. Take FM 543 out of McKinney towards Lake Ray Roberts.

southwest towards glen rose, hwy 51 is pretty cool. very twisty

and then from granbury go down to meridian area.

Look into the pineywoods of east Texas. 175 to Jacksonville and around that area. Nacogdoches is beautiful.

i live around azle. havent done a lot of riding work keeps me busy. Thanks for all the ideas
