Yep, I remember the power fist. I was in the long beach, La, area then. You had to watch out around compton and watts (panthers area) when you gave the fist. Giving the fist was easyier then opening our hand. Hand hurt to much from cuts and burns cuz we had to make all our parts. The aftermarket was just startin then.Just like that wave our bikes were crude with attitude.

I could just bet that all you wavers would just love to ride quads or sleds .
You get to do plenty of waving in these sports .
When encountering a rider ( or group of ) heading the opposite direction on your trail it is common coutesy to hold up as many fingers as riders behind you in your group.
The last in your group gives the closed fist , they in turn relay the status of there group.
Trails can be narrow or dusty , twisty (blind curves) , so this is a heads up informational safety wave .
Any other type of wave pegs you as a newbe .
