Different waves and what they mean

RE: Different waves and what they mean
My front wheel caught a pothole/groove in the road one time during a "return the wave" wave. I only wave sometimes and my wrist is still touching the grip.
Why not come talk to me at the Rides end.

I'm I the only OLD" GUY" on here that was riding back in
the 60's and 70's ?? or what? LOL"

is anyone on here old enough to remember the chopper rider wave
from the early 60's to the early/mid 70's???
1%ers and bike gang members use to use it too!
The last time I saw it done was 1972 when I was riding my chopper.
Lets see how many old farts like me are on this forum"

How about the leg wave? Got passed by a crotch rocket the other day, and as he passed me he stuck out his left leg. I don't know if he was just stretching his leg or was going so fast he didn't want to take his hand off the 'bars-Anyone ever seen this?

He was removing a cheek from the vinyl seat to allow quick evacuation of the noxious fumes he was about to release.

LoL .... If we are talking about the same one (sometimes called the 'black power salute') yep yep and yep. This past summer coming back from Durango I was feeling kinda charged up . . good weather, good friends.. etc, and I power saluted several folks. Pretty funny seeing the expressions on their faces - well - -pretty funny to me.

I knew there had to be another OLD" fart like me out there somewhere that
rode back in the 60's and 70's............LOL"
Where I grew up it was called the (RIGHT ON BROTHER) wave!!
Back in the day we were all brothers unlike the riders of today with
their petty (us VS them) clicks, back then we all took care of each
other no matter what you were riding brand or size of your motorcycle
made no difference to any BIKER/MOTORCYCLEST in those days.
No matter what you call it only hard core bikers would ever remember
it and know what it means!
