i give the shaka down low. don't get that returned much out here in the desert though. i get a wave, just not the shaka. not too many surfers out here.
I like that one. Every couple of weeks I try to change up the types of waves I give...keeps 'em guessing.

Ah Yes, that definition #6 below would describe how the wave is done by Skippy, the metrosexual spiffy model in Harley's holiday post card promoting "interesting" biker clothes.

ORIGINAL: Terry1955

Main Entry: 1wave
Pronunciation: 'wAv
Function: verb
Inflected Form(s): waved; wav·ing
Etymology: Middle English, from Old English wafian to wave with the hands; akin to Old English wæfan to clothe and perhaps to Old English wefan to weave
intransitive verb

#6 : to follow a curving line or take a wavy form : UNDULATE
transitive verb

I still like to shake their hands as we pass by...that way they know I really like em. Funny thing is, I don't run into a lot of friendly bikers on the road.

It does crack me up when you pass another rider and give them a wave (whatever kind) and you get this 1/400th of a second wave back because they are scared shitless to ride with only one hand on the bars.
