Bar hoppers, nothin' but bar hoppers.

And from what I have observed of their welding the first good bounce on the road and if the frame don't crack something else is sure to fall off.

Sr is nothing but a loud mouth whining bully.

I think their show is so stupid it gives bike builders and bikers a bad name. Its not worth watching 29 minutes of their stupid antics to see one minute of the final results. They seem to build more by accident than design. Take away their big hammers and they probably cannot get enough parts to fit together to complete a bike.

I question the quality of what they do when I see them use iron hammers on bearings, and other shop practices.I wouldnt want anything that SR put his hands on.

They built BIlly Joel a bike and he was on the show, he tore them a new one when they strayed from what he wanted. He ended up accepting the bike on stage at one of his concerts. He is a huge bike collector btw. He reported how crappy their work was later on in a mag and that the bike built for him was complete junk.

It's entertainment. That's the product. Sometimes enjoy it.

They hit a design home run every so often, such as the fireman, Caterpillar, Statue of Liberty bikes.

Inspected the Miller Welding bike when it came here... it was very weak in looks and finish and the fabrication was suspect.

Chassis tuning & tensioning science? Welds? Stress engineering and testing of sensitive parts like the fork angle? Bending and hammering the crap out of final assembly parts so it will roll out the door?[]

It's entertainment w/big $ involved.

My buddies and I dropped by their shop back in June when we rode to NYC, and they literally ran away from us! They knew we were down from Canada and had made a side trip to see the shop, because one of the guys talked to Jr. and told him. Jr. said to come back after we visited the OCC store , and they'd come out and shoot the breeze, etc... when we came back to the shop, Sr. saw us and high-tailed it into the shop, and we never saw Jr. again... pretty cheezy if you ask me.

Cheers!

You should have dropped into Indain Larrys(RIP) shop in Brooklyn instead

We did, in August, when we were through NYC. Lots o' MOJO in there, and it was during that heat wave so it must have been 120 degrees in there! Those guys were friendly and took some time to chat with us.

Cheers!

i'd be more impressed if they did their own finish work instead of hiring someone else to clean up the welds and paint the bikes. They do the easy part.
