Glad you're going to be okay, but your story gave me a chuckle. Reminded me so much of National Lampoon's European Vacation. Did you jump up and thank the person and tell them everything is okay and go about your business?

Got caught up in one of those round-a-bout things in SC several years ago riding to MB bike week. Some old man decided he wanted our right lane, rand a freind into the woods, then drove away.
My friend got a broke arm and 4k damage to his Harley. One of our guys followed the old man while we called it in. He was caught at a lumber yard 10 miles away.....
His excuse? He got scared when he saw us, thought we were the Hells Angels.

well, if it is your right ankle, and your bike fell to the left, then i would say the car hit it. if it is your left ankle, and the car hit you from the right, then i would say the bike fell on it......
sorry about your bad luck. they just put in a traffic circle here in town, and some of these yahoos don't have a clue how to drive in one. people in the circle coming to a stop when they clearly have right of way and almost getting rear ended, lane changes in the middle of the circle with a solid line causing others to run off the road, etc. its enough to make you want to pull up a lawn chair and watch for a few
