That's crazy. If a rider was going to be disqualified, why not let them know sooner. It cost $1k to enter, but much more than that in support expenses along the way.

 

I suspected it was a scam right from the beginning in 2010. I was considering entering the event. Well I considered it for about 2 days until I realized it sounded way too shady. Too many ways for them to get out of paying. I was right, turns out to be a scam, feather in my cap for sniffing it out.

 

This event was a fraud! Time to sue the bums that set it up....
