If you see a school zone, you better look at the sign.
They are not 55 and the fine starts at 250.00 and goes up. They don't play with Cowboys or anybody else.
They will bust yer butt in a heart beat.
And if you go out to Kerrville on I-10 the speedlimit is 80mph.

But, in the Dallas area its 20 mph and like you said the cops are watching.
Back to reason for this thread. Just leave Texas. I like it better with less people anyways.

Jeez am I off topic! Texas has fine riding weather, while Chicago sits in drizzle/rain @ 45f at best.

A snow blower out here is a ragged bleach blond with a straw in her nose , those I can avoid and don't have to scrap off that often .
