There was a time when Texas was it's own independent nation, the Republic of Texas. We native Texans still call it that and yes I am fiercly proud of a state that my ancestors spilled blood on it's soil to have what we have. Just a word of thought, that you might have been better off just asking advice before blasting an entire state. I agree with other posts, that if you are not happy where you live whether it be Texas or any state, you have the option to move.

I was born and raised in Texas and ride back there at least once a year. OP, Texas is BIG. If you can't find what you need there, it probably don't exist. Or else you're spending too much time whining and not enough time looking. No "Bike Nights"? Please. I was in friggin' Istanbul last week and saw bars with Bike Nights.

PS: the "this place sucks" attitude won't get you very far no matter where you live.

It disgusts me to see a lot of motorcycles sitting outside bars for hours in the evening.

Wait, I just rethought that and realized that adds to cleaning the gene pool and provides more salvage parts. So go ahead party hard dudes!

You know you can go to a bar, have a few drinks, sip some water and leave fine right?
